How Simploy Quickly Differentiated Themselves with a Unique Benefit Offering

May 29, 2025

Simploy, a leading Professional Employer Organization (PEO), was seeking to enhance its benefit offering during employee open enrollment to boost revenue. As a top-tier PEO known for supporting small to medium-sized businesses, Simploy provides a tremendous amount of support for their clients and continuously seeks solutions for new employee benefits. Their mission, “Simploy – the power to simplify employment,” highlights their commitment to making clients’ lives easier by offering the right benefits.

The Right Fit for Simploy’s Business

Following a detailed discussion of Simploy’s business needs, FIMC identified an opportunity to expand Simploy’s business by offering its newest solution, Commute Guard, to meet the needs of Simploy’s employee base. Commute Guard, an ancillary bundle of automotive related services that features 24/7 roadside and towing, repair reimbursements and alternative transportation solutions, helped solve for a wide-ranging issue facing Simploy’s clients – unplanned employee absenteeism. Simploy included Commute Guard in their portfolio of enrollment offerings because it aligns with their objectives of enhancing productivity and minimizing disruptions for clients. The implementation required minimal effort and allowed for quick activation.

How Commute Guard Helps Employers

In business sectors where remote work isn’t an option, businesses absolutely need their employees at work. Automotive breakdowns are a leading cause of unplanned employee absences and a breakdown not only can mean lost wages and repair costs for an employee, but it also creates disruptions for a business. No wonder that nearly 40% of productivity loss can be attributed to unplanned absences.

By providing benefits that help minimize the disruptions caused by an automotive breakdown, Commute Guard can help employers maintain adequate staffing, while providing PEO’s a unique affordable offering for their clients.

Rapid Onboarding and Turnkey Marketing Leads to Easy Implementation

FIMC quickly onboarded Simploy, integrating Commute Guard by automating file transfers and commission payments, making for an easy transition. Customized marketing assets were provided, helping Simploy quickly build their Prism Open Enrollment page, while arming them with a toolkit of pitch materials for pre-enrollment communications. Early returns show strong promise in the partnership, with key metrics like Customer Acceptance Rate outpacing projected benchmarks.

“FIMC’s comprehensive onboarding got us up and running fast giving us the ability to quickly offer Commute Guard, a truly unique offering in the PEO space, to our clients. Working together, we have been able to build awareness of this new offering through new communications and marketing activities, to drum up excitement ahead of planned Open Enrollments.”

– Carson King, CEO, Simploy

FIMC’s proven implementation and onboarding process got Simploy up and running quickly, providing a unique and valuable solution to their client base while providing Simploy a new incremental revenue stream.
